Charlie completes Shakespeare and Co.'s Month-Long Intensive

This January Charlie spent the month in Lenox, Mass. completing rigorous Shakespeare training six days a week. Charlie worked closely with Tina Packer, Sarah Hickler, Susan Dibble, Merry Conway and other amazing artists/instructors. The intensive culminated in a final scene presentation in which Charlie played Macbeth.

Charlie wins a Shakespeare Competition

Charlie and fellow UC Davis peer Talia Friedenberg competed at the Petaluma Shakespeare Festival's "A Night of Shakespeare Shorts!" Competition on April 6th at the Phoenix Theater. The two performed Act IV, scene iv from Richard III in which Talia played Richard and Charlie played Elizabeth. The duo won Best Scene (top prize of the night)/Audience Favorite and a cash prize.

Charlie acts in a reading workshop of a new play

Charlie acted as multiple roles in the new play What Is Bae? (by Philomena Block) with Bike City Theater Company (in Davis) this December. The play is set to be produced in February.

Charlie Interviewed on UC Davis Radio Program: September 27th 5pm

Charlie will be interviewed on KDVS' 90.3 "Dr. Andy's Poetry and Technology Hour" along with director Lisa Quoresimo and fellow actor Talia Friedenberg from the New Works Festival about the festival, he plays being produced and other recent projects. Charlie and Talia will also perform a song from the new musical Near Love Songs.

Charlie acts in reading workshop of play

In October Charlie will read for the character of Ariel in Tom Burmester’s play Nation of Two. This is another play in the critically acclaimed War Cycle plays written by Burmester. The reading will be a closed workshop/performance of the script.
